Pisang Peak climbing goes up from the Pissang village (3,133m). This pyramid like peak is easy to climb. From Pisang village to Kharka (4,380m) the path ascends through sparse forest areas and pasturelands. It is considered the ideal place for setting the Base Camp. From November to end of March there is snow at the High Camp (5,400m). Although the ridges to the final snow slop are quite steep, it is not difficult to reach the Peak. The trail leads through vastly contrasting flora and fauna towards the majestic peak of Mt. Makalu and Lamjung Himal.

The culturally rich beautiful Manang valley is dominated by the Annapura and Damodar Peak. From Pisang peak you can grasp the entire panorama of the Annapurna range.
