Kanchanjunga trekking is the less touristic area and in this trekking tourist can arrive until Kanchanjunga base camp. Kanchanjunga trek lays east north part of Nepal. Kanchanjunga is the third highest Mountain in the world. The height of the Kanchanjunga is 8586 meter from the sea level. This beautiful mountain seperates the Sikkim and Nepal.Kanchanjunga is worshiped as the tutelary spirit by the sikkimese.

This trek was opened in 1988 and can be done camping trek. There are two trekking routes to kanchanjunga. One starts from suketar and another starts from Basantpur near hille.

The kanchanjunga area is inhabitated by the limbu ethnic groups of Nepal and speaks related to Tibetan language.  They follow three main religions like Buddhist, Hindu, and animist beliefs.  The best season to trek in the Kanchanjunga area is March to april and October to november.

Permits
For kanchan junga trek we need a special permit and it cost USD 10.00 per person per week.

Kanchanjunga trekking area is the protected area by the government of Nepal and we have to USD 20.00 for the conservation fee.
We do not a TIMS card (Trekkers information management system) because they are charging us special permit.

Professional Trekking guide
We provide you professional trekking guide and speaks good English. The cost of guide is USD 25 per day and it is included his food, accommodation and insurance.

Porter
A porter cost USD 20.00 and it is included his food, accommodation and insurance.
He will carry 20 kg easily including his 5 kg of loads.

Transportation
You can drive from Kathmandu to Taplejung and it will cost about USD 25 with public Night coach for one way or you can fly from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur and from Bhadrapur you can drive to Taplejung.The air ticket from Kathmandu Bhadrapur Is around USD 200.00 and public bus cost around USD 8.00.
If you want comfortable and fast your travel to save time you can hire jeep from Ilam and it cost around USD 225.00
Flight ticket from Suketar – Kathmandu is approximately USD300.00 per person.
If you are in group of 14 people you can charter any time.
