Dhaulagiri Trekking

Dhaulagiri trekking is the less touristic camping trek in just north west direction from Pokhara, one of the major tourist destinations in Nepal. Dhaulagiri trekking is named after the Mount Dhaulagiri which is the 7th highest peak in the world at the height of 8,137 meters. The trekking trail is one of Nepal’s wildest and remotest with wonderful views.

This trek is recommended only for experienced trekkers with high altitude and good physical fitness. The best season for this trek is autumn. We have a18-day trekking package.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara .

Day 03: Drive to Beni (About 4 hours)

Day 04: Trek to Babiyachaur (910 meter/7 hrs)

Day 05: Trek to Dharapani (1565m/6 hrs)

Day 06: Trek to Muri (1850m/5 hrs)

Day 07: Trek to Bagar (92080m/7hrs)

Day 08: Trek to Dobang (2520m/7hrs)

Day 09: Trek to Sallaghari (3110m/5 hrs)

Day 10: Trek to Upper Vungini (Italian Base Camp) (3660m/ 4 hrs)

Day 11: Acclimatization Day.

Day 12: Trek to advance base camp (4440m/ 5 Hrs)

Day 13: Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4750 m.)

Day 14: Rest Day.

Day 15: Trek to Hidden valley via French col(5010m/ 7 hrs)

Day 16: Trek to yak kharka (3680m/6hrs)

Day 17: 3 hrs trek to Jomsom.

Day 18: Fly to Pokhara

Day 19: leisure day in Pokhara

Day 20: Drive to Kathmandu. Farewell dinner.

Day 21: Drive to international airport and fly back to your home
