Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at the Kathmandu international airport. Pick up by our office representative and transfer to the hotel

Day 02: Rest, briefing about the trip, and trekking preparation

Day 03: 35 minutes flight to Lukla (2,700m) - breakfast with beautiful view of mountains - about 4 hrs trek to Phakding (2,600m) and stay overnight

Day 04: Breakfast - about 5 hrs trek to Namche Bazaar (3,450m) - and stay overnight

Day 05: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar – a short walk through the hills of Namche Bazaar for better fitness and adjust with high altitude

Day 06: Breakfast – about 3 hrs trek to Thyangboche (Tengboche) (3,880m) – lunch at Phunki Thenga – about 2 hrs trek till Thyanboche - and stay overnight

Day 07: Visit Tengboche monastery at 6am - breakfast with the view of the Mt. Everest -about ..hrs trek to Dingboche (4,700m) - and stay overnight

Day 08: Breakfast -about 4 hours trek to Nagartsang Peak (5083m) – enjoy the brilliant views of many snow-covered mountains - and stay overnight

Day 09: Breakfast -about 6 hrs trek to Lobuche (4,930m) and stay overnight

Day 10: About 3 hrs trek to GorakShep (5,130m) – lunch – about one and half hour trek to Kalapatthar (5,545m) -get back to Gorakshep-lunch- about 2 hrs trek excursion to EBC (5,364m) – dinner tea/coffee made by our team and stay overnight in tents at Everest base camp.

Day 11: Breakfast - trek back to Gorakshep - lunch- trek back to Pheriche (4,250m) and stay overnight

Day 12: Breakfast - about 5 hrs trek to Phorse (3800m), it’s a small sherpa village and you can visit some monastery – and stay overnight

Day 13: After breakfast, about 4 hours trek to Khumjung village.You can see beautiful Sherpa village which is the biggest Sherpa village in that area. There is Edmund Hillary School,kunde hospital and monastery to see. We have not included this in the plan. You can enjoy this evening with local Sherpa beverage to celebrate your tough and successful trek to the EBC

Day 14: Breakfast -about 6 hrs trek back to Phakding and stay overnight

Day 15: Breakfast- about 4 hrs trek back to Lukla and stay overnight

Day 16: Breakfast - fly back to Kathmandu – rest- farewell dinner with Nepali cultural program

Day 17: Sightseeing in Kathmandu (Optional)

Day 18: Drop off at the airport and departure for selected destination
