An Australian tourist has been missing in trekking
An Australian tourist has been missing for about one and half month on the way to trekking to Manang. A 23-year old named Myachiyu Alpress went missing on the way to Manang trek through Sikles. His parents are now in Nepal who have requested to the District Police Office for searching their lost son. Even after the parents' declared NRs 50,000 prize for anyone who find their son, no progress has been achieved in his search. The parents, observed very sad in Sikles village, still believe that their son will come back. Police has informed that it keeps searching the lost person. A helicopter is used for four days and a trained dog from abroad also been mobilized for his search. Similarly, the locals, divided into different groups, at Sikles village keep searching him every day. A social worker in Sikles said no information about the missing has been found. He further informed that Sherpa people will be coming there to search the missing tourist.
