The height of the Cholatse peak is 6501 meter. We can see the north and east faces of the cholatse peak from Dughhla on the way to Mount Everest base camp and kalapatthar. The glaciers of chola descends off from the east face of the cholatse peak. There are two routes to climb on Cholatse peak. One is from Khumbu side and it is really challenging and another is Gokyo side and it is moderate.
Due to narrow snow, ice ridges and steep faces cholatse is considered to be technically difficult peak. Most of the time climbers climb on the Cholatse peak from south west ridge and North face.
