Ganesh Himal trekking, situated in central Nepal, north-west of Kathmandu valley, introduces you to a variety of beautiful scenery and broad spectrum of life of Nepalese communities. Ganesh Himal is named with the elephant-headed God who is believed to bring good fortune. Ganesh Himal has two lakes, the Black and White Lake. Ganesh Himal is famous for its rich flora and fauna. The trekking route of Ganesh Himal passes through beautiful peaks, hot spas, georges and the dense forest and meadows.

Ganesh Himal trek begins at Trishuli following the upper valley landscape, a three hours drive from Kathmandu. This trek ends at Gorkha, a six hours drive to get back to Kathmandu.

During the trek to Ganesh Himal, tourists visit Gorkha, the home of King Prithivi Narayan Shah, who fought many wars to unite the tiny kingdoms spread throughout the land now known as Nepal. In this trek, the Gorkha palace on top of the hill in Gorkha is visited by the tourists. This area is also the homeland of the original Gurkha warriors.
