The Seti River rafting is an excellent short trip in an isolated area, where there are easy rapids, small and straightforward, and fantastic Himalayan scenery. On the second day, grade III rapids will be encountered, but thereafter, we come back to easy float until the end of a 2-day trip.
Seti river is an excellent experience for beginners and learners. This river is appropriate for family trip and best to learn Kayaking in Nepal. Seti River passes through green hills and valleys and beautiful jungle. Hence, it is an excellent river for bird-watchers. Being a short rafting trip, rafters can get plenary of time during the rafting to take pictures, swim and relax on the sandy beach.
The trip starts at Damauli about 6 hours drive from Kathmandu or 1.5 hours drive from Pokhara and ends at Gai Ghat on Chitwan - Kathmandu highway . Many rafters make Seti River rafting combined with either a trip to Pokhara or Chitwan National Park for a jungle safari tour.
