Naming of the Annapurna circuit trek and Annapurna Himal

The name of the Annapurna circuit trek was derived from the Name of the Mount Annapurna or Annapurna Himal. The trek trail starts from Beshisahar and goes behind the Mount Annapurna and ends at Pokhara. So the trail makes almost one round or circuit of the Mount Annapurna and people started to say Annapurna circuit trek or Round Annapurna Trek. Annapurna is the one god in Hindu religion. Anna means Food grains and purna means full fill. According to local legend the snow covered White Mountain helped the local farmers to grow their food grains. Sometime if they cannot grow the food grains enough due to crisis of rain then they think the White Mountain is not happy with them. So to make happy the mountain they worship each year in some special festival time. Some time there is heavy snowfall, heavy rain, landslides, avalanches and any kinds of disaster. People think it is due to the snow covered White Mountain and gave name as Annapurna Himal.

Annapurna trek is hardest trek in Nepal. The trek starts from about (900 meters) and approaches till 5415 meters. The trail is nice and goes gradually up. If you are fit then you can walk faster otherwise you have to walk slowly and steadily. If you walk slowly and long time you can arrive to you destination easily and meet the everyday itinerary. Weather of Annapurna circuit trek

The weather of Annapurna circuit varies from each month and each area due to elevation change. In low lands it is sunny during the day time and night cold. But in higher elevation it is very cold and freezing even in summer. In winter December to February most of the time the trekking trail is closed due to heavy snow fall. But the best time to trek is September to November and March to June. But in my experience I had done this trek many times in monsoon too. In Monsoon there is problem in lower part of trek. In lower part there is heavy rain and sometime landslide and difficult to cross the waterfalls. But in higher elevation there is very less rain.so monsoon doesn’t disturb.

In Kathmandu we provide 2 star equivalent hotel like international guest house with bed and breakfast. In trekking we provide attached toilet room in low lands.
